What is measured
Nothing on this site asks who you are. A small script reports anonymous usage: each page view, scroll depth in steps of a quarter, and taps on an app button along with the button's place on the page. Attached to each report are the page address, the referring site, campaign tags if the link carried any, browser language, operating system and a random ID stored on your device. Your IP address helps estimate a rough region and is never kept in full.
Processing
Reports go to a function on this site's own server, which forwards them to an analytics provider hosting data in the European Union. The numbers help us see which parts of the comparison people use. We do not sell them and do not share them with advertisers.
What your browser keeps
There are no cookies. Your browser holds a random device ID and a session ID that resets after 30 idle minutes. Clear this site's data to remove both. With scripts blocked, you can read everything and nothing is sent.
Links to app stores
Every button for the Confidently app goes to /get on this site. That route reads your browser's user agent and redirects Android devices to Google Play and all other devices to the App Store. For Google Play it adds the button's position as a referrer. It records nothing about you. After the redirect, the privacy policies of the store and of the app apply.
Requests
Email the address above to have the reports tied to your random ID deleted. As the ID says nothing about who you are, clearing this site's storage is the fastest way to reset it.
